Auditions for “Christmas at the Forge”

Date: Friday, November 14th

Time: 5:00 – 7:00 PM - Arrive anytime from 5:00 to 6:30

Location: Roots Counseling – 732 N Main Street, Cedar City, Utah

Shows are being directed by 3 time Emmy Award winning actress and director Ellen Wheeler.

Step back in time and help create a show presented in the style of an old-fashioned holiday radio broadcast!

This year’s productions — Santa Claus Is Coming to Town and The Star Still Shines — will capture the warmth, humor, and heart of classic Christmas storytelling, complete with character voices, sound effects, audience participation, and vintage flair.

Roles available for ages 12 and up.

Each cast member will voice multiple characters, bringing lively storytelling and personality to the performance.

ROLES MAY BE DOUBLE CAST to accommodate schedule conflicts.

Please be prepared to:

Cold-read a few lines for several different characters. You will be emailed sides once you sign up to audition.

(Optional) Perform a 2-minute monologue using different voices.

(Optional) Sing 16 bars of a well-known Christmas song.

Rehearsals begin: Monday, November 17th

Since this is a radio-style show, parts do not need to be fully memorized.

Performance Schedule:

Monday, Friday, and Saturday evenings from December 5th to 22nd.

with matinees on Saturdays & Monday, December 22nd. Shows are in Cedar City, UT.
