Did You Know?
Did you know the Cedar Fun Center used to be a classic small-town movie theater?
When it first opened in the early 1980s, it had just three screens and was known as Fiddlers Three Theatre. Locals flocked there for first-run films, buttery popcorn, and weekend hangouts.
By 2003, it expanded to six full auditoriums, later becoming part of Megaplex and then a beloved discount theater. Eventually, the space transformed into the fun center we know today—with arcade games, laser tag, mini-golf, and party rooms.
Performing arts space in Cedar City is extremely limited — and with our new shows launching this holiday season, we needed a home where live theatre could come to life now.
So in 2025, this familiar Cedar City landmark is taking on a brand-new role:
We are transforming a movie theater into a live theatre venue for Christmas at The Forge.
From lighting, sound, sets and holiday magic, we’re building something truly special inside a place that has entertained Cedar residents for decades.
This holiday season, the story continues—with live theatre, laughter, and new traditions at The Forge.
Join us and come see what we’re creating!
