Cedar City is full of talent, heart, and people who love great stories. And yet, there’s still a gap in our local theatre landscape — a space waiting to be filled with year-round opportunities, new works, community connection, and affordable performances for all ages.

That’s where The Forge Center for the Arts steps in.

Our community is blessed with incredible organizations:

 CVCT, offering two beloved productions each year

 CCCMT, nurturing young performers through children’s theatre

 IMPAC, inspiring creativity and performance education

The Forge exists to bridge the space between them — expanding opportunities for both artists and audiences who want more consistent, more varied, and more accessible theatre experiences throughout the year.

 Our Vision:

To become a vibrant regional arts hub where creativity thrives, new traditions are born, and stories are shaped with heart and purpose.

 Our Goals:

• Produce year-round live performances, from musicals and plays to original works

• Offer opportunities for all ages — seasoned performers, beginners, families, and everyone in between

• Create affordable, family-friendly experiences that bring our community together

• Build a space where artists feel supported, audiences feel welcomed, and creativity feels limitless

• Spark new traditions and meaningful memories right here in Southern Utah
